AutoSync FAQs: Your questions answered
We want to make sure you're always kept in the loop of our services. So, this month, we want to address some common questions we've had since our free AutoSync service rolled out to all patients earlier this year.
Q: I know my regular medicines are being synchronized for once monthly refill by the pharmacy. Do I still need to order my refills?
A: Until your medications are completely synced, which can take a month or two, please continue ordering your refills as usual.
Q: My doctor changed one of my regular medicines…..what do I do?
A: Get in touch with us so we can make the needed updates to your medication profile. We can adjust the quantity we dispense to you to make sure your new medication syncs up with your other medications. We’ll also make sure the old medication isn’t refilled.
Q: What about medicines I don’t need each time?
A: When we contact you each month to review your order, you can tell us about anything additional you need at that time. Also, you can order between normal order times at any time, either by stopping in, calling us, or using our RxLocal app to reorder.
Q: Do I have to get a call each month to review my medicines? I rarely have medication changes.
A: Whatever you prefer! We can simply notify you when your order is complete, if that’s easiest for you.
Q: Do I need to contact my prescriber for refills?
A: Our AutoSync program is designed to take any hassle out of medication refills. We will contact the prescriber if you need a new prescription, troubleshoot any billing issues, and order any needed items all before you run out of anything. We simply let you know when your order is ready.
