Prescription drug deaths from opioid pain medications are on the rise in Pennsylvania and in Indiana County. Patients who are on opioid pain medications may be at risk of accidental overdose, even if they take their medications exactly as prescribed. The pharmacists at Gatti Pharmacy want to ensure that all of our patients have safety precautions in place while taking pain medications.

Some of you may be aware that each year, Gatti Pharmacy places a mailbox in the gift shop where children can mail a letter to Santa. This year, we wanted to share some of those precious letters with you. We not only encourage submissions but attempt to take a moment to respond to each of those letters as well...from Santa himself.
As we sorted through the adorable requests and handwriting, the content tugged at our heart strings.
This week, we would like to share this one from 8 year old Elizabeth who wrote two letters:
