Here are three tips to ensure you stay hydrated:
- Get hydration from foods too. Foods like fruits and veggies are also a great source of hydration. Plus, they are good for you too.
- Drink water before and after exercising. Even if you aren't thirsty, make sure to load up on water, especially when working out outside.
- Drink enough per your body weight. To find out how much water you should drink a day, divide your body weight in half then divide by 8.
If your pee is dark yellow, this is a sign you need to hydrate. Make sure to refuel as soon as possible also if you start to feel dizzy, have an increased heart rate or are not urinating frequently enough.
